Question Planetside 3

I'm impressed. The first planetside was way ahead of its time, and as a result was riddled with compromises due it's ambitious goal of 400 players on one continent. This is certainly not the case for Planetside 2. Not only does the game seem completely up to date for modern standards, but its makers also believe they can manage to have a whopping 2000 players on one continent.

So here's my question to you guys. Now that planetside has managed to catch up to the graphical and mechanical level of modern shooters and will probably manage to keep up, what do you think Planetside 3 will be able to achieve? How many players do you think it can have per continent? And do you think there is a limit to how many players should be on one continent? (Assuming we have the technological capacity to sustain say... one million on a single continent). And if yes, why?
