We’re taking over Floyd’s 99 Barbershop for our beta kick off event! This may seem a bit odd for something as important as beta, and you’re right! The PlanetSide community has been around a long time and we’ve developed some great relationships. Part of the relationship is the great amount of teasing we take from our community.

With this in mind, we’ve picked one of our favorites…the meme of Creative Directory Matt Higby’s promise to not cut his hair until beta was to be announced. You can see many nods to this on our own social media channels and our fansites, like with the Twitter account for Higby’s Hair (who is not too pleased about our event).
