beta signups prior to beta release

Ok, I signed up for the beta prior to the first wave of beta invites being released. I am not a PS1 vet so I know I'm not going to be in the first few waves or anything. I just want to know if I will get in the beta eventually even if its the last few waves.

If not.. I am willing to buy the PS1 thing so i get in the next round
Concerning "the PS1 thing" what is it exactly that we would have to buy? A SOE playcard for PS1? Any help is greatly appreciated.
