I mean in their literal, cyber-physical form?

Other than just a number that ticks away. I think the resources should be represented in game.

For instance, say a resource place, tech-plant or whatever has a underground mining place with lava n' such (accessible by elevator) that shows alloys n' stuff being mined.

It'll be like a "oh so that's where alloys come from" moment.

Maybe one day..
