I have three Engi-Turret replacements
1. Auto-Turret. This has probably already been thought of but maybe not with the specific stats I've listed: -Automatically targets and fires on enemies. -Would cost similar Auraxium to a rocket launcher -Can be hacked by Infiltrator -Starts off mid-range (increase range with certs) -Doesnt have a shield -Limited ammo capacity (can be certed into) -Limit on how many a life (can be certed into) -180 or 100 degree field of view And the cert tree for this would have things to increase range, ammo capacity, and usage. Also there would be a technology tree that would add things like ability to shoot cloaked infiltrators and take longer to be hacked, also addition of a shield and more health. (These would all be more expensive than most of the other things that can be certed into for the Auto-Turret 2. A Deployable Shield Barrier. Cost 2x the amount of orange points as spawn beacon. Takes up turret spot but is placed and acts like spawn beacon -straight wall of light/energy emitted from some sort of device -start with enough health to take 3-5 Magrider shots (can be certed into) -extends for 10m each way -can not be walked through -takes 1-3 seconds to deploy (can be certed into) -can be certed into so it forms a curve at the top for air protection Would be useful for Engis wanting to repair or just take some cover from tanks. Might be overpowered though. 3. Mobile Resupply Station. It's would actually take place of the ammo pack but take 2x the amount of resources as a beacon. -can be used to change into any class (besides max) -replenishes half the ammo the class can carry (can be certed to full) -repairs half of the armor (can be certed to full) -4 uses before destroyed (can be certed to 12 uses) -has a large amount of health (can be taken out with a rocket launcher in 1 shot) Well that's the three additions I thought off.
