Some state that nade spam will be an issue if they remove grief. Is that true for PS2? I know it was for PS1. But in PS2, you can't have as many nades as you could in PS1 @ one time and they are limited by resources.
Here's my ideas to improve FF issues:
- Separate grief into different types: Vehicle Driver & Gun. This way you can set different cool down rates.
- Appropriate cool down rates for each grief type; Which shouldn't be too hard to balance if you do all the steps I list here.
- Make grief increment based on amount of damage done consecutively, per type.
- Better visual indicators and sounds, each one different per type of damage being done. The message on the screen is cool but I'd rather see it in flashing red in my chat bar and another type of on-screen hit indicator that looks unique and shows on the target I'm hitting.
- More distinct Doppler effect sounds for vehicles approaching. Sundies need horns | Galaxys need a cool sound effect horn to use when landing.Helps ground troops distinguish vehicles approaching so they can get the heck out the way.
- Let's add in a mini-lock if you reach a certain amount of grief. And consecutive locks after for doing further grief (x amount) after getting locked the first time. Each time the longer the lock will remain.
