the radeons have gotten mucho bettero. If you have seen some of the newest pc/gaming mags, like PCGamer and GamePro, they compared the GF4 and the Radeon 9700 Pro and the 9700 came out on top for both. Im still debating on getting the 9700 Pro or the 9500 Pro, since i dont have $300 at the moment, but with what Hamma is saying, ill just wait till i get the $300 and get the 9700.
