Its not great but its not bad either - it has a niche.
The Jackhammer simply is worse than then other shotguns. It has no specific situation where you would ever choose it.

This comment is so ignorant that all I can do is this...
I'm not saying either of the heavy faction specific weapons is better than the other, I'm just saying that each is equally hard to use. I would have to say I feel the worst for the VS, their gun doesn't even do direct damage!
