I disagree that it would be too much data to push from the server..., after all, a dead guy all you need to do is send the packet of instant of death (assuming ragdoll only happens on death), and body position and momentum vector, and the rest would be handled by client. Some may see it a little different than others, but they could get an update from server of final resting position after death is acknowledged by victim.
I think it would be funny to watch, but I think it would be a challenge if there are vehicles involved. I.E. One client PC could see body bouncing off several vehicles, while another may not see occur at all.
