The first thing that got me hooked on Planetside was the fact that I was hooked on Halo but then fucking Microshaft bought it and didn't release it for PC so i was like hey Planetside looks a lot like Halo but sounds lots kewler. So yes they look very similar to me but I still haven't played Halo. It and Mechwarrior Assault are probably the only 2 games worth getting an Xbox for and i refuse to pay $300+ to play 2 games.

Aren't they planning on releasing Halo for PC summer 03?

Actually you can get an XBox for 200 dollars and it comes with a "Controller S" and 2 games. I also think it comes with the normal controller too. Oh and why get it for computer when you can get Halo 2 next year on the XBox?

I am a huge fan of Goldeneye. Oh man that game was awesome. But I have to disagree with you. Halo > Goldeneye.

My only problem with it is that there aren't enough good levels if you are just playing with 3-4 players. Most of the levels seem to be towards 8 players.

X-box games definately worth owning:

Mech Assault, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Halo

I've played Halo and I was kind of disapionted with it I mean it was like this game rocks, but given a choice between Halo and lets say HL for PC I would have gone with HL (and the mods of course)

But as for Halo verses Planetside there is no coparison PS is in my book the best FPS of all time and its not even out yet.

I can see some similaritys between Halo and PS like being able to drive vehicles and stuff buts that like saying the original Doom compares to T2 in that you shoot a gun. I mean come on people.

They may be similar, but anytime you compare to beautifully done games that tends to be the case.
