haha yeah sorry

I get distracted very easily in posts, sorry.

Hmm, to me the story just doesn't seem enthralling. The human race fighting against machines that have them enslaved. Seems good enough. But when I take a look further into it, it doesn't seem to be as stable as I first thought.

The story has many holes in my opinion. Holes that have already been brought up time and time again, so I will not bring them up further.

The first Matrix explored all there is to explore of the Matrix. It bent the laws of the known universe and willed them to it's own intent. I have seen it all.

I think that reloaded will be decent, but not good because the story for me is now starting to decline. Does the human race survive? I don't give a F. Just show me some fighting.

To me I feel disenfranchised with the actors because i don't really care wether they die or live.

I don't think Keanu is a good actor =p in addition.

Ahhh much better, thanks for re-explaining it.

I don't agree or disagree yet though since i haven't seen the sequels. I agree that they could fuck it up nicely by just churning out 2 more Matrix movies to get the green, but that doesn't mean it can't go the other way and be 2 more movies that have an interest story to tell.

It's kinda like SW. The sequels to episode 4 = excellent, prequels = not so excellent.

lesson 1:
'The Matrix: Reloaded' is a sequel to 'The Matrix'
lesson 2:
from when i last heard, 'Matrix: Revolutions' is a Prequel to 'The Matrix', explaining how humanity got into this mess in the first place.
Lesson 3:
Squeeky, you ever seen Scary Movie 1? how about playing 'Max Payne' or 'Dead to Rights'? the Wachowski brothers practically invented the concept of 'bullet time', (if you have not seen any of the above movies, or played the above games, 'bullet time' is where the action slows down so much that the bullets seem to be moving at walking speed, usually with a camera rotating around the person being shot at.) and even if you don't care for slow-downs, just watch the lobby shootout scene. more flying lead, plaster, and marble i have yet to see! the kung-fu scenes are also very nicely done.

seriously, you don't want to miss out on the Matrix. it is definetely my favorite movie of all time.

(note for matrix fanatics: if you watch the 'subway station' scene when No and the Agent are shooting at each other, you see that Agent Smith doesnt kick off the wall, he just goes airborn. tells you how much detail i watch these movies in...)

Not trying to nit-pick you but Revolutions is also a sequel. There may be a prequel coming later though.

Source : Yahoo Movies preview. Noted in the 'Premise' section.

oh for crist sakes people here whatch the trailer
http://whatisthematrix.warnerbros.co...ler_final.html
and you know what there are no amazing movies unless you let them be

as far as plot holes go you'll find plotholes and problems with any movie if you watch it enough.

movies are simple they are escapism ment to entertain

people should stop over analizing movies and just sit back and enjoy them.
there are bigger things to worry about let people enjoy there 2 hours of being a hero

(The Matrix) (Striker)

It is an awesome action movie. The plot, while maybe consider rehash of other plots, is very original in execution and blending. Any plot holes I've found haven't been too glaring and I'm sure the Wachowski brothers would easily be able to explain it to us.

Oh yeah, they're not just making another Matrix because the first one did well either. When the Wachowski brothers brought their plan to the WB, they had it as a trilogy... and from what I hear the executives' oogled and thought each "episode" was more intricate and entertaining than the last. Indeed... I do not think we'll be disappointed at all.
