just got beta and ouch!

didn't think my lil radeon all-in-wonder would handle planetside, but hey i gave it a try. and ouch!

so i say to myself, self, is it a good time to buy a new vcard?

my candidates are ti4200, 9500pro. what do people think, time, price, and all? also my MB is ancient so i'll have to stick w/ 4x AGP. i don't mind getting an 8x because upgrades to MB later on isn't out of the question.

gainward has a gf4 4800 for $159 at newegg.

Get a newer card if possible. 9500pros are good. While the 4800 is newer it's based on old tech.
