About a week ago.. a really dispicable instance occured that involved yours truly.

I and a small group had gotten to a base, poorly held and took the hack. We were but 4-5 of us, and we were doing all we could to hold the place.

A STEALTHED TR (We were TR as Well) SLipped into the CC, and I died following thinking to invite the person into my Squad.

Well, lo and behold jsut as I spawned back the base is hacked by NC. SO I race back into the Base just in time to see the stealther TR rehack the base. I AGIAN offer the invite, and the respoinse was basically" Screw you my base"

I became rather incensed. I became MORE pissed when I saw the NC coffin... it became QUITE clear to me.

This peron ALLOWED the NC to hack the base, to take it for themsleves... and then... jsut to make it worse, the chick says"Go out and stop em from getting back in here."

So I wasted the hoe, several times and she had the NERVE to call me an ass...

Whatever. That shit... is really really really worthy of a summerary Field Execution.

What is needed is a proximity check to see if the person doing the TKing is within a certain distance from the CC and if there are any enemeys within a certain distance from them. If they are near the CC and no enemys are near you should get a 10 minute weapons lock, ontop of the grief points for the TK.

It is extra retarded to not group up if there is room in a squad. You get the same amount of points for capping, plus the points for any kills, plus the added benefit of someone getting the CEP.

Hmm. I am sure TheSHIFT was trying to say something. Beats me as to what it is.

Anyway, the whole thing would go away a little bit if they would add in BEP based on proximity to and duration of your post while the CC is being hacked. The fact is that rarely would any squad hold a base if it were not for the other activity going on in and around the base by other squads. And if you do 90% of the damage and die, you don't get jack if someone else comes in for the kill.

IMHO it is almost inbred into the game to promote TKing. I fully do not support TKing though. It is REAL simple though. TKing will be attractive to some as long as the game promotes it.
