I have recently found this game to be very interesting. The mix between a FPS game with some RPG elements is something I have been looking for , for a long time. I have checked out everything I can find for this game and am still left with some questions. It might be that I just missed the information somewhere and if that is true then I appologize for the inconvience.
#1 - Once control of a station, tower, base, ect ... has been gained. Are there any benefits of having control? How long does the loosing side have to wait before they can attempt to regain control? #2 - Ammo: Do you run out of ammo and have to head back to some supply point to re-equip? Can you loot ammo from corpses (friendly corpses or enemy)? #3 - Is there any significance to dying other than you have a short time to wait before you can head back into the same fight? For example do you loose any equipment you might have had? #4 - Can you be instantly transported to anywhere on the map to fight or are there areas that you cant access because they are in control of an enemy territory? #5 - Are there any kind of boats to transport you across water or allow for a beach type invasion? #6 - As far as the RPG aspect goes, can your character obtain objects in the game that can be stored somewhere and if so where? I assume there is no type of housing in this game to "live" in so are there areas to take a rest from the fighting and re-gather yourself? #7 - Are there smoke grenades or some device used to create a cloud or some kind of visual obscurity for tactical situations? #8 - Can any type of defenses be set up to guard a base besides vehicles and the already existing turrets? For example can you create something similar to a sandbag defense position? #9 - Do characters take more damage, for example, from headshots than from being hit in the arm? Do the effects of being damaged more and more cause you to move slower, limp or crawl? #10 - How large is the world in this game? If I were to try and fly some aircraft from one end to another how long would it take in real time? #11 - Are the day & night cycles realistic or do days and nights cycle very rapidly like every 30 mins for example? Many thanks to any and all who care to clear up these questions for me. I currently play another mmorpg and have 4 accounts and am slightly boared with it. This game sounds really fun but from the sounds of some posts seems to lack something still. Iczer-one |

1.
Yes there are benefits to having control. Everything from the terminals within the complex to specifics like increasing SOI for the AMP station and allowing the creation of Tanks and such at the Tech Plant. 2. You can buy ammo from any controlled Equip Terminal (Towers, Facilities, AMS) or loot any corpses you find. 3. You lose your equipment but always spawn by an Equip terminal so you just re-stock. (Bind keys to setups you want so you can stock all your favorites with a press of a button.) The other downside is you have to respawn in specific places only so you may not be able to get right back to where you were. 4. From the HART in sanc you can get anywhere not in a SOI. From a continent you will need to get a vehicle or walk to wherever you want to go. 5. Some vehicles can pass over or through water but there are no water dedicated craft. 6. Levels dont gain you objects, just certification to use the objects. You can get anything in the game from an Equip terminal or Vehicle pad, you just have to be certified to use it. 7. No smoke grenades. Vehicles can be used to create cover or screens, or weather can play a major role in things. 8. For additional defense you can create turrets, mines, motion sensors and remote mines (boomers) there are already all sorts of covered positions in and around bases. 9. There is no locational damage system in place to keep it running smoothly and lag free with so many people. The gameplay works better with this particular game that way too. 10. A long time, just flying accross a continent in a galaxy can be time consuming enough. There is no vehicle that would ever be beneficial to doing this. May as well go to sanctuary and take a HART. 11. Much longer time period the 30min. But yes. Hope that helps.
