i've only tried the lancer in VR training, it seems pretty powerful.

for now, i always have at least 1 or 2 decimators in my inventory, because they simply own :P

The lancer is a blast really, great for an AV character to take out snipers. It's accuracy and ROF are it's big advantages though. I have a locker full of these puppies and I was tagging an enemy AMS and soldiers running around it from an insane distance. If I could just get my hands on more ammo I'd be good.

Overall though the striker is my favorite AV weapon. It's biggest problem though is not being able to achieve lock because you don't have a perfectly clear shot.

Well best overall AV is still Striker, second to the Phoenix.
The Lancer is different, like in previous posts, it can kill Infantry, and do well on slow vehicle or suprising Skeeters and Reavers.
But you have to actually AIM that bugger to hit anything, and then you ahve to old the button down und aim further to use it's superior ROF, which makes it harder to use then those little rockets, but this gives its advantage in being "multi use".
btw the Striker in Dumpfire mode isn't that bas to use too, very accurate.

The striker has some serious flaws now, some bugs, some intentional nerfs. The biggest problem plaguing the striker is the fact that you cant get a lock on a target if you cant see their knees. If a target is partially obscured by terrain or a knee high rock/wall you can't get a lock to save your life. The is particularly troublesome against vanu maxes. When they jump to the top of a base wall you'll never get a lock on them because their knees are just barely covered by the guard rails of the wall. I can see 80% of their bodies and yet I cant get a lock.

The second problem with the striker is this godaweful missle lock. Nothing has hurt my kill count more than missle lock. Prior to the advent of missle lock my reaver/mosquito kills were somewhere in the order of 15 a night, now I'll be lucky to get 5 in the same exact timespan. Good maxes have learned to use the missle lock to their advantage, knowing just where to stand to avoid the striker hit. Its an aweful "feature" in my opinion.

HAVS : Fire Dump, it's accurate enough, and with louck the MAX is ignoreing you, because he knows you can't get a lock.

I hardly consider giving a missile lock warning to pilots as a striker nerf. The weapon is still just as dangerous, they just get a warning to get the hell out of town unless they want to get owned. The striker still owns outdoor MAX and even with the missile warning, you can almost always get 3 hits on reaver or mosquito (which kills a mosquito btw).

Worst case scenario you just fire 2 missiles dumbfire, acquire lock on a reaver so he has 2 missiles incoming as he gets his warning, they hit, he starts moving, and if you fire a 3rd missile, it should hit too. Anyway, I agree that I don't get as many reaver kills as I did before, but I still clear the skies of reaver threats.

Most Reavers get sloppy when they cleared the peremiter oder try to camp some doors, thats why it's easy to take them out with the lancer, till they move the 3rd shot hits them

Actually, I think that the missle lock makes it even more deadly, since you can scare a bunch of piolits away w/o even fireing a shot I know when I see the missle lock up, I hit the afterburner and get out of there

That's probably true, lately I've just been locking and firing one missile at reavers. Nothing sucks like blowing 4 or 5 missiles on a reaver to leave you out of ammo to deal with the MAX inside the base you're attacking.
