Different MAXes! Here's a quote from IGN:

The difference with heavies is clear. It isn't just armor. It's mechanized assault armor. Three different types of MAX armor are available for pickup. You can grab anti-personnel, anti-aircraft, and anti-vehicle.

This means that we will have at least three different weapon loadouts for the MAXes and will make them even more uber!

having only 1 config for all encounters would make MAX's a bit to usefull all around

We should be getting more info about this soon. One of the questions yet to be answered by the devs is about the MAX weapons.

I'm hoping you can mix and match your weapons if you want.

I was under the impression that extra supplies could be stored somewhere on the MAX, no clue if that's correct though.
