That's completely counter to everything they've said about the game from the get go, now I'll admit the lack of fauna in the game is a bit disturbing It whould detract from the overall game balance at this point. Besides realisticly what flesh and blood crerature is gonna stay standing after a clip of gauss ammo.

No against the monsters, but like Doppler said, it would be nice to have some kind of wild life going around, even if its an occaisional bird flying around, but then it could be a dead planet, i mean look at the giant skeleton thingy lying around.
