Squad Icons on your suit/vehicle?

Is there an option to put your own squad icon on your suit or vehicle? It would be very cool if you could see that some people are in the same squad (or is the true term outfit?) by an icon.

Well we've heard, at some point, that there are logo's for outfits, but no 'personal' ones. You cant upload an image and use that, its more along the lines of DAoC's system, a preset with possible diffrent color variables.

Personal home-grown logo's would be too much load on the system, be like HL where you'd have to download them when you connected...then there's the screening issue, which would also prove difficult, you cant have pr0n logo's and other such things in a p2p world.
