To all those who just finished the Siege of Ekera on Emerald-Cyssor...

Thank you. That was the most insane fight I've ever been in. 30-odd Vanu versus an entire continent was a blast.

For those who don't know, three squads of Vanu on the Emerald server took and held for two and a half hours Ekera base and the accompanying tower. Both the NC and TR ended up throwing nearly everything they had at us, and while they inevitably broke us, we made them fight for every inch of ground. It was glorious. It kept me up 'til the sun came up.

I know, at least, that the VS involved had a great time. Props to BringerOfFate for coming up with the idea, and to Phynn for bringing in some much-needed reinforcements that allowed us to actually hold the base for a while. And MAD props to my squaddies (guys from my own outfit, Dragonslayers, as well as awesome guys from Clan Suckass) for each fighting like five men. I'm damned proud of all of you, and I'll say it right here in public. We did the Vanu pround today.

Anyone else in that most epic of conflicts?

oh, yeah...about that bigazz impact crater over there....me and my skeeter. yup. afterburner jammed wide open( laggage). bumped into (well...ok, crashed into and ricochet off) an incoming gal....wham!...sorry, I'll clean that right up.

Oh damn I am just itchin' to get in on this action! Come on you stupid fileplanet download! Only 37 more mins left. BTW - how big is the patch? I have cable so hopefully it shouldn't be too bad
