Question grief for killing own cloakers?

I hate getting grief for accidentaly killing INVISIBLE people on my side when i am in a base trying to defend it in a do-or-die defend the base situation.

i am sure many of you know what i am talking about.

your tower is being over run the enemy is at the door. all chaos is running amok and there are FRIENDLY cloakers in the base continiously getting in front of your max......you are defending and you get "gweeef +10" "gweeef +20" and a dead cloaker (now a croaker) lands in front of you.

there should be no greif for killing friendly cloakers. or it should be reduced. or they should show up better for friendlies.

hehe yeah it does suck always gettin killed by your own teammates in towers or bases

they should have the name appear above all friendly cloakers like 24/7 casue it really does suck just to be walkin around then to turn around and see your own MAX come around and blast ya

Their really should be better friendly claoker recognation. I nearly sniped like 12 of my own infiltrators, just because, as a distance, it is hard to tell. That is until you put your crosshairs on them and their name shows up in green.

I have sniped plent of friendly cloakers. Have a bad habit of just leading any cloaker I see and popping them. But I mean...come on...it's one shot

Keep in mind they're called grief points for a reason. They're designed to stop people, collectively known as griefers, from killing friendlies without care. There is absolutely no reason why a player who chooses to be an infiltrator should lose his "shield" against griefers.

They should be more visible to friendlies though.

The Greif system is too forgiving as it is and if occasionaly scaping a freindly cloaker threatens your current greif level you either suck or really are a greifer.

why should infiltrators have to be visible for friendlies , that element of doubt probably saves him alot against enemies who arent sure if its safe to fire or not...

I agree but a smart cloaker will not be trying to run up the stairs in the middle of a firefight. How long do they expect to last with their wet paper bag armor?

why should i just look.

well it is a bit of a lose/lose situation between cloaker and defenders.

they get killed and defenders get greif.

it is pretty hard to be that cautious when you are in a tower filled with friendlies trying to defend it during total pandamodium with the enemy at the gates.

(anyone ever remember that cartoon panda-moduim ;-p )

it' is really an issue of etiquite i guess.......dont cloak in those situations. it does not help the defenders.

Don't cloak? If I see an enemy in an infiltrator suit and visible, I am aiming at him. Simple as that. It's an easy kill. Besides, better to kill him as soon as possible before he cloaks again and I lose him.
