Try the ability to drive in a vehicle riding any position you want including gunner!!!! That's right boys and girls!!! The computer guys now can drive the vehicles while you tag along. And also try the fact that you can now co-op with a full squad!!!!! 4 Master Cheifs!!! this alone makes it the best game in the world!!!
And OMG THIS IS THE BIG ONE!!! Co-op via X-box live so you can play the game with 4 master chiefs that are in another country!!!

I rest my case....Halo 2 will be the best game in the world when it comes out.

(for now, untill, Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 comes out for x-box)

Halo rocks. i was a microsoft basher too. but i'm now unbiased. i have all the big systems, so i don't miss out. Halo is by far my favorite game for XBOX, regardless of MS being evil. just sit back, play the game. the plot is excelent (no pun intended), the Coop is great, multiplayer Vs. mode kicks major ass, and it's just overall a cool game. how many games can you think of involve having a self-rechargable shield, blunt melee attacks, vehicles, a Coop mode, and a plot-twist as kick-in-the-nuts good as the introduction of 'The Flood' halfway through the game?

I also have all the major consoles, i bought halo right away! and all was good... because i loved that game... but after awhile... it just got bad... the play got stale and repetative... and now i will never buy another console FPS again... lets just put it that way... Half-Life pwns Halo in my opinion (PC version, consoles suck) im at work now, so can anyone tell me what Halo 2 will offer that Halo 1 didn't? other than great graphics that is... which is not at all a reason to buy a game in my opinion. also, i'm much happier with my PS2 than i am with my XboX, just because PS2 has a bigger variety i guess... i have like 3 games for XboX and 20 for PS2. But i am looking forward to Ninja Gaiden (XBOX) for my sensless ninja womping pleasures 8)

hey now, don't get me wrong, I'm a gamer, there are some kick ass games for the PS2 and you can't touch Nintendo in terms of inovation and originality. fuck I think nintendo invented the word fun. but guess what system doom III and Half-life 2 are coming out for? thats right the xbox, Xbox is hands down the best console round, not that you will be disapointed in any of them really, just Xbox has the best staying power in terms of hardware and support...


seriously? have you guys seen that 8 minute halo 2 movie from E3?? if you can't be overly amazed at that then why the fuck are you even playing a game like planetside?

i agree, there are definately some good games for each console, some consoles cater to different people. but half-life on the console... umm no thanks... im at work right now, so can't see the movie... can anyone explain to me what it shows thats so much better than the first halo? any new weapons? vehicles? cool stylish moves? what? and is it the actual game? or is it just a kickass FMV?

most cut scenes are in game now (and wow) new rifle, dual SMG's, 4 new warthogs, super improved AI (for both alien and friend) Xbox Live support!!!, a lot of things will be AI control(versus scripting) so games can go differently depending on how you play, well theres this once scene where the player jacks a banshee in mid-flight.

theres more but I can't think right now, having a geek overload with all the new trailers just released plus the matrix tonight...

hell for me the live support alone is worth it.....
