Ok this has been rehashed about a million times, maybe Hamma needs to sticky it.

The Magrider hitbox is the same as the hitbox for the other tanks. Its ability to strafe make it more of a squish machine, but its hitbox is no different from the Vanguard's or Prowler's. SmokeJumper and Stryker are looking at this further to evaluate how it really is working in gameplay....

The problem is NOT with the hitbox, it is with client side prediction. When I am driving a magrider I squarely hit every single person I kill. However, due to the strafing ability of the tank, PS often seems to screw up the prediction that it sends to YOUR computer. Thus you see me driving by when, in fact, I am strafing towards you. When I colide with you on my screen it sends the damage packet to the server then it is sent to your client and whammo you die.. even though you are behind a tree/rock and the magrider is a few seconds past you already.
The same thing happens when trying to run around a corner and you are getting hit, often you die even after making it around the corner. It has more to do with the basic netcode and prediction of PS, not with the magrider's hitbox. The problem is more obvious due to the magriders unique ability to go in any direction instantly.
