From playing on both Emerald and Konried, I have to think that the lag is inherent in the server population and is unlikely to improve on the more crowded servers until they are no longer overcrowded. However, I have not seen (nor would I really comprehend) the code that makes this game, so maybe they found real problems that will make a difference without having to transfer some people off of the overcrowded servers. Maybe.
