Lightbulb "Interesting" way of getting into an enemy facilities.

I just found an interesting way of getting into enemy facilities. This only works if you are playing multiple characters.

1.) With Character A in a friendly base park yourself infront of the CC.

2.) Quit the game right where you are.

3.) Use Character B until you later see the facility that Character A was in under control by another empire.

4.) Quit the game again so you can go back to Character A.

5.) In the LAUNCHPAD, select the server and Character A.

6.) When PlanetSide loads, it will take you to the last place you were with Character A - Right next to the CC in now enemy controlled facility!

(This is obviously only an "Interesting" way of getting in, because telling people of bugs or exploits is forbidden by the EULA and I wouldn't want to break that. )

Now that's a strategy.

I thought everybody knew that already. It's not really worth it though.

Yea, I thought everyone knew that as well.

Who really wants to switch out characters in the middle of a fight though.

hate to break it to you, but ive been doing that since first 3 days of playing. Only i just make sure im in a CC when ive quit.

ive gotten well over 7 stolen or saved bases from that alone

an easy fix is, if you in an enemy's sphere of influence when u come back in game, you go to nearest friendly sphere of influence spawn room...sucks tho if your game locks up in the CC or in the base

Since this is actually my 3rd day playing, it makes sense I discovered this now.

Heh, I think that playing more than one char is a serious waste of time.

If the enemy has any serious defense in the base, you will be dead before your Loading screen finishes doing its thing. Even if you do somehow manage to not get killed when you load, there are almost always lot's of guys at the cc. Really, it may work now and then, but it really does strike me as a waste of time that could be spent fighting for control of the facility.

um...once u switch to a character besides theone u were previously playing, the other character gets transported to the sanctuary so i really don't understand this whole idea, have u tried it yet?

The instant your second character logs in your first is booted to the sanctuary.

I actually used this often in beta to solve problems with my character being trapped in crashed zones.

I could use another character to 'bump' my first to sanc and then be able to go somewhere else.
