When and if new weapons come into playm which would you rather see?

I know i didn't include all the possible choices but from what I've listed please tell me which you would most look forward to in the case of new weapons. I chose the replacement of the suppressor.

I want a sword, but I think either Common Pool Heavys or Empire Specific Specials would be good.

hows about a sword for officers like in teh civil war. (officer wuld be like...cr 2 or above mabye?)

I agree, swords would kick ass but would probably suck when you try to charge someone with gun.

those choices are not the ligical ones

we need:
Empire specific Intercepters
Like flying versions of the AA maxs to shoot down those libs
*if not, at least give the skeeter a 35mm cannon*

But a sword would be very cool as well (esp if you could 'block' with it (8-10% shots bounce off sword)

However, what I belive would also ver very good is more defenses for the bases (forcefield doors, blast doors, more turrits, internal defences *turrits/blastdoors*, etc etc etc)

I can see the Empire-Specific aircraft, but a sword would be absolute crap unless you're practicing for Olympic bullet-catching.

not really. it would be identicle to the knife, except do a load more damage, but takes up a rifle slot. not too bad.

Wow, I actually inspired some thinkig. Cool. I was more or less going off of the images of the over-sized Terran chianblades on the inside cover of the Planetside box. I don't know though, there wouldn't be much use for a sword when you could pull out a rifle and empty a clip onto a would-be Samuri.

Who really uses knives? Infiltrators. Who has no rifle slot? Infiltrators. Who would rather shoot to kill than stab to be killed? The people who could actually tote this thing around.
