I doubt i'd touch that game with a 50 foot pole.
Recruiters can message you, and draft you! (ok well, they can't draft you, but they try to recruit you). Although, i'd like to play one day, kill a bunch of people, get messaged, and shit-talk a recruiter . Oh boy, good times... |

No they can't. That's total bs. They can message you if you pick the game up from the recruiters and give them you addy, and say, hey message me. But otherwise they can't.

But nothing in game will help them recruit you. If they want to recruit you through normal channels they will try (or as Nav said, if you actually go to the recruiter's office to get a copy you're screwed), but the game doesn't recruit for them or help them contact you.

This thread reminds me of the moive "The Last Star Fighter". It's about a kid from the trailer park who beats some video game, that turns out to be a recruting tool/starship simulator for the galatic republic, and he heads off to space to save the day.
Good moive, but it's proabbly a little dated if you saw it now. |

Here's two minutes of playing AA:
1. Note the "JOIN THE ARMY" tiles used for making the map. 2. Note the "BE ALL THAT YOU CAN BE" decals used for the walls. 3. Note that all the enemies look a lot like OBL and Saddam. 4. Online, you are constantly being messaged by recruiters. 5. Note that this is only two minutes because you throw down your controller in f33r of recruitment.

News Flash: AA is a recruting tool of the Milatary. That's why it's free. It's just like any other free piece of software, it's full of advertisning.
If you don't want recrutiers msg'ing you just tell them "I'm 65, and have flat feet. Am I still eligable?" then when they say no, you can start harassing them for turning down seniors. |
