In real life, bullets leave a gun at something like 3 miles a second (I think) so Insta hit bullets on some weapons would be pretty realistic. You don't dodge a bullet in real life, you just make it harder for them to aim at you by moving.

Sniper rifles typicle muzzle velocity is over 1/2 mile/sec =p for the Bolt Driver's purpose =p I dont care if/how instant bullets are, as long as it's fast enough that theres no tribes-1 repeat, where you see the muzzle flash of a bullet 3 seconds before it hits you when you arnt that far away, but i do agree instant bullets at 1 1/2+ miles is rediculous even in the PS world for a physical projectile |

i was talking about assault rifle velocities, but if u want to into long-rifle (sniper rifle sounds like it should stay in the video games) velocities, the m82 barrette .50 cal (about as powerful and fast a muzzle velocity ur gonna get with modern day long-rifles) fires at a muzzle velocity of about 2000 feet per second, so even this hard hitter does not approach 1/2 mile a second.
