Which is more important to you? Lower lag, or playing wih your friends?

Most of my CS clan are in Texas, my DoD server is in Seattle, and I live in Maine... Ping first, friends second in this case.. probably...

My GR/DAoC/AA clans are _mostly_ in Dallas while my old MW4 clan in centered in the NE. My people in Dallas get good ping to both coasts, I'm eastern, and the MW4 group is eastern, so I've little to worry about in this situation.

Ping/Lag reigns supreme.

Friends first, because i'm in the UK i've gotten used to having a higher ping on the US servers.

Going with the clan decision. In this case, we'll be on an East Coast server to for a compromise between the West Coast guys and the Europeans/Australians.

Other, a mix of both, i'll play where the majority of PSU plays but if i get 785ping i might switch servers.

As long as my FPS isn't horrible, I would much rather play with people I know. It's just not much fun being stuck with a bunch of people you don't know on a large map like this.

I would probably be willing to turn down my detail, if I had to, in order to play with my friends/acquaintances.

Low Ping > Friend, you can't exactly play with your friends if you have a high ping, only talk, and what's the point of talking in-game anyway. You can't see anything with a high ping. =P

Like others, I too am waiting to see where the rest of our clan members want to play! Shouldn't be a big deal!

Half of bohica is in the Mideast and the other is in the east. I think what we'll do is whoever gets the better ping on the other's server will play there. Itsabitch.

Your ping has nothing to do with your fps.

Unless I have over 500 ms ping I will play where moast of my friends play. As long as I have around 200 ms I will be happy, it aint like it�s CS and you�ll die in 0.5 secs..
