The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

My only complaint with the flail so far is the insane armor that thing has. They make a lone person way too powerful without a big enough drawback in my opinion. Unless they are taking very heavy fire, they tend to have enough time to pull up in plain view, deploy, turn all the way around, and unload on whatever it is shooting them up till that point. After that they just sit there and shoot at anyone that sticks their head up out of the base. After sitting there for a while they finally take enough damage to warrant an undeploy and run.
The way I think the flail should be is perhaps current lightning armor...maybe a bit more, what's after lightning? Deliverer? Anyways, something about that strength. That would require them to use a bit more tact when taking on a base, and make spotting all the more important. But hey, that's me. |

The problem with greatly reducing it's armor is underuseage. In most cases you have to bring one from underground. Thats quite a trip. While it's useful underground it's a vehicles that's meant to have long ranges to work with (still not sure why it was included in an expansion for close combat but meh). It's not that hard to kill. It has little to no defence against air and even being smart with some decis will take it out.
