Do a google search for your area. You stay in the arena and sleep and eat when necessary (they have a bunch of safe zones with food, bathroom, water etc...usually marked by a towering orange flag) (taped off area of about 1 square mile or so, depending on size) and be prepared to drive to some rural areas .

They're the most fun you can have. You feel like you're at war, if its well organized. I wanna go on a weekend one. In the winter. |

Yeah, It was funnier when I didn't see the video. But man, that boy is huge! Talk about laying off the Super Sized Kids meals!
And not a single paintball hit him. Too bad. He deserves to become the next modern art exhibit.

SCENARIO Team Alpha (US Army Rangers) has stolen a cargo truck (Hamma's truck) containing an experimental rocket motor. However, the half-track is disabled. The driver (Hamma) is unarmed and has been taken prisoner. He knows how to fix the truck, but Alpha team does not know this. Beta team (SPETSNAZ) has twenty minutes to secure the truck. Once it is secure, Hamma needs six minutes to fix it. Hamma can only arm himself and fix it once team Beta has freed him. Alpha team has a Chinook helicopter and several Apaches (imaginary) coming in to retrive the truck. They are twenty-six minutes away. If the helicopter lands, the truck will be removed and Beta team will be mowed down by the Apaches. Beta team has a base with snipers, machineguns, Sa-8 mobile SAM system, ZSU-23 AAA, and three T-80 tanks a few minutes away (all imaginary). An attack is suicide, as the base is simply too heavily defended for a small squad. If the truck reaces this point, a Ranger attempt to get there is impossible. WINNING CONDITIONS Alpha team wins if they still control the truck after 26 minutes, Beta team is eliminated, or Hamma is killed while he is shooting back. Beta team wins if they get Hamma to fix the truck and they ride off to the "base" (represented by a flag as far away as possible), or if Alpha team is elminated. RULES Hamma alone can fix the truck. Hamma cannot be executed. Hamma cannot arm himself until Beta team finds him, and if someone is willing to give him a gun (he can pick a gun off of a "dead" player, but the dead player cannot get up and get to him.) Hamma cannot be killed unless he is armed. The rocket motor cannot be removed from the truck, as it is too heavy to transport. The truck cannot be ambushed along the way to the flag, as Beta team do not have any rocket launchers. Wishful thinking, of course. Why? Airline fees.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |
