When you venture into water do you swim on sink?
...If you can swim is it dependent on how heavy your armor is? Are there going to be lakes/ponds/rivers/waterfalls of any sort? Thats always a nice touch to add to a game... Couldn't find any info on this.Plz direct me to the post/info if you know the link. I've heard that vehicles sink and lockup when they go into water and you can't get out; so I'm assuming you can't go to the bottom of the lake in a commonly traversed area and go fishing for ground vehicles like golfballs to recover them. |

I do believe that you can't swim, but I could be wrong.

You have an air supply meter and can walk underwater at a slower speed. I don't know anything about vehicles "locking up" when in the water. I know vehicles loose power if they go to far away from the continent. Hmmm, and the Vanu have hover vehicles that can go over water for a limited time.
Rivers and lakes are all over the place. Here are some screenshots that give a sense of how water is used in the game maps. http://planetside-universe.com/media...id=28&img_id=8 http://planetside-universe.com/media...id=30&img_id=3 Last edited by quiet; 2003-01-19 at 04:33 AM. |
