I have the following at BR 15 with one cert left over
Engineering Combat Engineering Medical Advanced Medical Hacking Advanced Hacking Infiltration Suit Implants: Surge Darklight I can always find something to do in a fight When I hit BR 17 I plan to pick up the Mosquito for transport When I hit BR 18 I plan to get Melee Booster or Audio Amp not sure which yet. After that I'm not sure what I will get.

I've been thinking about it, but for the most part when I play I am with my outfit and I have transport. Plus being able to stand back in a fight and run in and res my buddys helps alot. I think I would give up advanced hacking before adv medic. There really just are not enough medics in the game.

Certs: Infiltration Suit Hacking Advanced Hacking Engeneering Combat Engineering Medical Tactical support Assault buggy/Air support <-- switch these a lot depending on what the outfit needs on a given evening The final cert I will get will be Mossy for fast response hacks. Up untill I get those points, I find it is more usefull in the long run to use an AMS for your fast response hacks. Sure, this limits you to local towers and bases but its 10x more effective at routing Gen droppers and ghost hackers Implants: Surge Darklight Second Wind <-- 4 boxs of XP away from getting 3rd implant. I will change this to Silent Run when Sony gets thier act together and fixes that Interlink crap Last edited by Queensidecastle; 2004-01-23 at 12:17 PM. |

Hacking Advanced Hacking Engineering Combat Engineering Tactical Support Uni-Max 1 floating cert point Implants: Surge and Darklight, will get melee booster next level. I will get the tank cert at 19 and once I get to 20 I'll just switch out air cavalry and the tank cert dependent on my mood. Tactical support has gotta stay. |

My sig says it all.
Medical is nice, but transport is always great for the cloaker. Hack med terminals to heal yourself if you need a fix. Advanced regen can be used as well, though I finally scrapped that one. Sometimes I need the extra firepower of a MAX (sneaking into an enemy base and hacking yourself a MAX is good for laughs too), so I can be a more well-rounded grunt. As far as implants, I use Darklight for catching enemy cloakers, advanced targeting for flying (though it can be useful to see how damaged a boomer candidate is ) and I split my time between surge and audio amp. |

I am a very agressive cloaker and I found that looting medkits and depending on Medical terminals and others to heal me just wasnt good enough. I get spammed by far too much plasma, falling damage, and splash damage to depend on those things. After I got medical, my survival and effectivness went up 10-fold. I found it far better to be looting ACEs and ammo, than to be looting medkits

My BR18 Infiltrator has the following certification and implant builds:
Advanced Medical Combat Engineering Advanced Hacking Infiltration Suit Ground Support Ground Transport Surge or Silent Run (depending on my mood) Audio Amp Darklight I specialized in behing a hunter killer cloaker, troop support, AMS placement, and Deliverer driver. Walking everywhere as a cloaker is not so bad because with Surge you can run from one base to another and still have stamina to spare. Though sometimes the mountains can be a bear on a few contenents. The Mosquito is a good option to consider, that vehicle owns.

Infiltration Suit
Combat Engineer Adv. Hacker ATV MA Implants: DLV, Melee Booster This setup owns for me. I'll drop-pod into a techplant, jack out a wraith, blow the gen and be off to the next base inside 10 min. Melee Booster truly is the ownage machine. The fact that it gives a cloaker the same power as a sniper is awesome (one swipe- kill cloaker, 2 swipes kills all other inf.) I can't wait till I get br18 to grab silent run, those rotten interlink facilities will no longer be able to annoy me. |

Infil Suit
Med. Assult Heavy Assult Air Cavalry Combat Engineering Adv. Hacking Implants: Adv. Targeting (for when I fly), Darklight, and Surge I don't feel the need for Medical. As a cloaker, once you start getting shot at its already too late. In small battles I'll creep in ninja-style and not get hit at all, and in zergs I'll surge in suicide-bomber style and hope to be able to push the button for the boomer before all the spam weapons take me out. If I survive the suicide run, I'll hack a med terminal or ask someone to heal me. Heavy Assult is for when the opposition is expecting cloakers and at least one of them are using DL at all times. Next level (20) I'll have 1 cert left over and was considering droping HA for Uni-Max, downgrading Air Cav to just a Skeeter and picking up an AMS, or downgrading both Air Cavalry and HA (down to special assult) to get a Magrider. If I ditch my Reaver, I'll switch out Adv. Targeting for either Melee Booster or Audio Amp as the mood strikes me. |
