Planetside cheating?

how is it possible to cheat at planetside... im not saying that i want to, but i dontknow how it is possible..
what do you have to do?
does it involve hex editing ?

Yes people did with speedhacks, but i have not ran into any others.

also becasue if you were just wondering you wouldn't ask how to do it.

He just probably wanted to know what other kinds of cheats and hacks where out there just out of curiousity or to look out for them. But if he did want to then tough luck because I don't think anyone will tell him and I don't even think there are that serious cheats out there anymore, even when people complained about them I rarly saw anything.

There are cheats that let you move faster, there's one that will freeze people on your screen letting you hit them ez, see through walls, light up cloakers, and there is an invincability bug.

What's funny is all these people that are hardcore believers in hacking with absolutely no proof. At one time speed hacking was an issue and there is/was a hack that only allowed your gun to shoot when the cursor turns red over an enemy (it is very terrible and completely worthless).

The speedhacks have been pretty much eliminated (I know wnx, a well known and respected clan) attempted to see if speed hacking works on the test server and were unable to make any change in their speed.

Exploitation and bugs are still rampant, but 3rd party programs/exploits have been mostly removed. (Once a month someone speedhacks and they are never seen again).

Yeah, most of the cheaters in PS are just exploiting bugs in the software. An issue, certainly, but as flypengy notes, the serious cheats have largely disappeared.

There are a couple of types of cheats the ones by taking advantage of a bug in the game and the others are by modifying files. You have to be pretty smart to mod the files to cheat and most cheaters aren't so it isn't a problem. The ones that are bugs are the ones I see most often and they are also the easiest to use. (No I do not cheat I pay my monthly fee just like everyone else to play the game and hate it when people cheat against me so I won't do it to you.)

i like the idea of getting to CR 5 easily
although that would increase the spam alot
therefor lengthening my /ignore list
