I'll be playing again once my new box is here and set up (assuming it ever does get here....but that's another rant) and Gerbil still plays doesn't he? Look at the IV boards for the TS info. I think there was some issues that have since been resolved.

To us his science would still be unsound. Last time i checked we couldnt wield the same "Chemical Engineering" stick that the "people" in Planetside can.
From what I remember from my High school chem class (it was honours, unlike my english classes). There were two ways to seperate a bond. Either give the electrons something else to bond with OR to physically seperate the two attoms. Seperating atoms is currently a painsakeing proccess without useing a chemical process (Such as changing stats of matter or atting a more reacive element). You literally have to take the atmos and move them away from eachothers magnetic field. Doing this times 10 trillion, my SWAG of how many atoms are in a max, would be neih impossible. But im no Chemical Engineer. EDIT: Forgot one but the deci prolly doesnt utilize this. If one was to apply a large enough electronic field to an atom the electrons in the highest level they will become excited and move up one layer. This could break a bond between the two atoms. However it theoretically would revert back into its old molecular structure after it "settled" down, in this process it also gives off light. Last edited by _-Gunslinger-_; 2004-01-31 at 06:07 AM. |

All he said was to stop wondering about dumb shit, and the only reason the devs did this was because there needs to be BALANCE. And you two, Spee and Elf, start PMSing on him like you guys also have a dick up your ass.

Ah, Angel. So good of you to join the conversation. Always nice to have a few from the peanut gallery show up.
Reread the quote you posted, dumbass. I said he made an ignorant assumption (Spee didn't know how that game worked) in an arrogant way (the arrogant way he presented himself). Now maybe he was just having a bad day and came across that way. Maybe his cat didn't want any of his sweet lovin' last night. Either way we'll probably never really know and hopefully that question will remain one of those great unsolved mysteries. Let me reiterate for you since I'd hate to have you misunderstand again. The assumption was not by itself arrogant, it was simply ignorant as most assumptions usually are. The way his post was written was arrogant. GG on almost comprehending my statement though.
