I think when you get shot, your reticule should move around wildly, as it does in some games, to simulate the trauma of being shot. Even if you're wearing advanced plate armor, like a reinforced exosuit, the blunt-trauma of a bullet impact is going to be severe (and in real life, often deadly).

On this same note, I think it should take a couple seconds at least to recover from massive falling damage. Who falls 100 feet in plate armor and lives? It happens all the time in the caverns and off of the roofs of towers.

Yes, I know realism isn't the end-all be-all of the game, but this would make Medium Assault weapons more formidable. Joe Jackhammer can't Surge-o-port with impunity if he's stuttering through a hail of assault-rifle bullets that are making his reticule do the k00ky dance.

Well your cone of fire does bloom wildly already. I do agree that it would be cool for you ret to jump though.

It would help balance the fact that there are no hit locations. It's totally justified why there are no hit locations, but this is a reasonable way to balance that out.

Initiative should win you the fight. I can't count how many times an infiltrator would open up with an AMP against my back and I was able to spin and kill them. If my spin had stuttered because of the massive blunt-trauma against my spine, I would have been much less likely to kill them, but not entirely assured to fail, and their initiative would have not been in vain.

This would not affect the MCG user if he is crouching because it cannont expand anymore so it will promote more supressive fire instead of the surge spam. This would greatly affect anyone like the VS because they get a huge CoF already how big can it get c'mon its just a small barell how can it should perpendicularly. JH tactics will still not change but it will just increse more surging since they have to get closer to the person to compensate for the CoF from falling.

Maybe they could just cause you to lose a greater ammount of Stamina when shot than currently?

If you got initiative on your enemy, I'd say you won the fight. When wielding advanced firearms, death is never more than a second or two away.

I actually dont like the idea. You lose stamina and your COF blooms. If we implement that then lets nerf the FUCK out of the MGC. Who wields a mini gun while sprinting?

The single best reason for the lack of realism is that I cant do some things in PS that I can to in RL. For instance go prone, or ditch a grenade around a corner (Without bouncing it), and beat the shit outta 14 year old brats...wait i get to do that in BOTH RL and PS!

The same people who fight usurpers of alien technology on a planet where death isn't permanent.

I don't like this idea, because if your reticule dancers around the screen while it blooms and you lose stamina, firefights will be decided by whoever lands the first shot, and that wouldn't be fun. And fun is the only thing that matters. Not realism, unless it helps make the game more fun.

That concept is lost in this game. PS is a game of equipment and position superiority. Don�t have a Deci? Then die by the MAX. Don�t have Darklight? Then die by the cloaker. Walking? Then get mowed. Can�t beat a particular surge warp exploiter? Bring 50,000 friends. Enjoying 3 FPS during a large fight? Spray and pray. I always find myself fighting from a position of either huge advantage or huge disadvantage. There is almost no in-between area where �skill� can be a real factor unless you are in an organized duel.

I personaly would not like it, because its just more power to the spam weapons like the MCG and JH if you ever came up to one of them you woul never be able to hit, the COF bloom from getting hit is fine for me.

I wouldn't like this, this game is already turned into enough of a in your face slug fest, where all battle are fought within a 2 foot reach of your enemy. If your COF blooms, your only choice will be to close ground and pray and spray. I'd rather loose realism and keep medium range combat.
