Work Sucks!

God dammit, listen to this shit:

Okay, i work at a book store, i'm not gonna say which one on the forums but it's one of those chain jobs like Borders or Walden Books etc. etc. use your imagination.

Anyways, i have three actual managers. The head manager, Laney, is the coolest woman in the world but she's a bigger pot-head than most of the employees, so she can be dumb sometimes though she knows her shit. My favorite manager is this guy, Mike, who's brother owns the surf shop i frequent for wax and shit like that. That's how i got the job, Mike's brother. Yippee. Anyways, then there's Sean. Sean is a fucking douche bag, and here's why:

A couple weeks ago i come in for my earliest shift of the week. It sucks so firs thing i do is get coffee. Not a huge fan of coffee, but wts? right? right. Anyways, i take my coffee and head to the back to see if i have to stock anything. No one's back there and there's no list, so i go up front to get it. Up front by the counter there's this chic. She looks maybe a few years older than me but she's pretty hot so as i get behind the counter i say hi and we start small talk. Blah blah blah blah, five minutes later i remember why i came up to the front in the first place and grab the list for the stock room. As i'm doing this she and I are still talking and every once in a while, as per the rules of small talk, i say something clever or sarcastic and she laughs. I look up from the counter and here's Sean, glaring at me like he's gonna tear my balls off and feed them to an aardvark. Ooookay. I'm confused. So i tell her it was nice meeting her and she says she'll probably see me again because she's Sean's fiancee. Did i see a ring??? NO! So how the fuck was i supposed to know. I then noticed it on the silver necklace she was wearing. So, now i kinda see why Sean was glaring at me but it wasn't like i was flirting, just talking. So anyways, Sean grows a fucking hard-on every time he pisses me off lately, in other words: He's always on my fucking case while i'm at work!

So, one day, ONE DAY, i decide not to come in because the waves on the Gulf side are pretty nice according to a couple of my friends who called me from Clearwater.

ANYways, to make a long story short, i went surfing instead of going to work.

Okay, this is the first and only day i've missed since i've been working there which is for a while now. I am a really hard worker and Laney would probably tell Sean to quit being a bitch and let me keep my job. BUT, Sean still wants to fucking fire me. My schedule is all fucked up and now he's saying he has the right to hold my final check until i get things straightened out. I want my fucking money! AND i don't want to lose my job! Laney hasn't been in to work in a few days and Mike is afraid of Sean because Sean has a short temper and technically is higher up on the manager food chain than Mike. So, until Laney gets back, i have no money and Sean can pretty much fire me if he wants. I'm not working now because he pulled my schedule and gave the hours to someone else. Technicaly i'm not fired, but also i'm not working. I get paid really fucking well to work there and this fucking penis is not going to lose me my job.

I dunno. Just really pissed about this complete jimmy. Anyone else ever have a problem like this with an employer?

I dunno. I'd suck his dick til he gives you your check, schedule yourself to work a SHITLOAD of hours. And then quit. That way you get your check, and he gets stuck with a fuckload of open timeslots and has to frantically fill them.

good idea.. but i like this job, and i'm not a huge fan of sucking dick. perhaps if i could just fuck his fiancee, and in the afterglow convince her to kill him herself. Hmmmm.. then again, this is very bad and i am going to hell for thinking it. wow.

the fact is, i actually live in O-shitty-hio. but, the majority of my family lives in florida so that's where i go to school.

I used to be on another forum where i disclosed my school and residence. that turned out to be a mistake for several reasons so i just don't do it anymore.

anyways, east coast, florida. zoob. off-shores on the Atlantic side are shitt-ay right now for some reason. But on the gulf side, it's not too bad. Nothing amazing though.. oh well

An employee can not with hold pay from anyone. It's the law. Sorry to hear about your bad luck. Tell Sean you would hate to have to turn up over to better business bureau for failure to pay wages. The only way he can hold your paycheck is if you owe the company money. They can make it a withholding. Not because you missed one day of work. He can hold your wages for that one day. Hope this helps out.

Also f his girl, on a web cam. Squeeks will download the images and video. Blackmail him, that it will get out on the net. Then once him and her pay you off then release the tapes anyway. Hope that helps more.
