Im sure everyone knows about the E3 expo this week. The question is, what if any PS annoucments are you expecting or hoping for?

I hope they don't announce that they will no longer be selling it.

(and maybe a hope for a free expansion to make up for the steaming pile of crap that is CC)

CC is ok. There are great battles to be had down there, especially if you're looking for smaller-scale engagements. The CC weapons hold their own as well - Radiators and Maelstroms are great for closed-in spaces. I'm not sold on the Switchblade, but noone can doubt the destructiveness of the Flail.

As far as an expansion, water is ok, but space combat is what I'm hoping for - moonbases, hostile physical environments, orbital platforms, suborbital combat, new suits, weapons and vehicles...yeah, that's Planetside.

I am hoping for what diddy said, its been a years worth of patches, lets make them available to people just buying the game.

I'm hoping for an announcement on either an expansion into space or water combat or both. But my guess is it will probally be something along the lines of Planetside and Core Combat being combined for one low price...and if you own planetside already you get CC for free via download or something to that effect. I doubt they would spend $ on a floor space just to say "Were going to tank Planetside". The other unlikely (but I wouldn't put it past them) scenario is....Planetside will be available on the PS3 or PS2 (for $100 which included 40 gb hard drive, keyboard & mouse).

Maybe I ought to ditch work and see for myself...oh thats right...no more vacation time (I do have more..but I'd rather go to Lost Wages....I mean Las Vegas).

Well, Smoke mentioned something regarding release in China. I think they'll explain the tournament mode too.
