I'm not really looking forward to either of them. But the DS is definately a better system for gaming. The PSPs battery life is awful. Only 2.5 hours while playing games. And it's a lithium battery, so it's not like you can just take a pack of AAs with you on tha long car ride.
Plus, with 2 touch screens and it's use of slightly modified SD memory cards, the DS could double as a PDA. You could keep track of all your appointments, or homework, and play games in class, all on the same device.
