we found my cat in an alley while it was a kitten, its tail was burned off by some teens, i hate people who do that.

It says they don't know if it was intentional. More likely, since it's a factory, some industrial glue spilled on the Friday and the workers were too lazy to clean it up. Then the mom brought the cats in seeking shelter and they thought it was food or something.

Although, if it was teens, they need a visit from SDM.
