why do u hate tribes 2?

I was playing tribes two and I realized how much I hate it. The only strategy is to jump then jetpack into the air and time a shot with the spin fusor when the other guy lands thats trying to do the same thing. Heavy armor can't do anything in that game unless your shooting down a vehicle but then the guy comes with his spin fusor jumps and shoots u.

In capture the flag no one goes for the flag everyone just attacks the bases its kind of weird.

I have never seen more agressive people in my life I just wanted to see how far I could get a heavy armor away from the flag I got him to a few thousand then I got bored and killed him (not jumping style)

Tribes 2 blows indeed but.....

Tribes 1...is a whole different beast.

I've always hated bunny hoppers in any game. T2 is just another one. BF1942 hoppers get quickly raped though...I thgink it'll be the same in PS if you can jump(I think you can but I'm not sure)

I neither love nor hate Tribes 2. I played it for several months and then moved on, so I'll go ahead and give it a 6 out of 10.

No worrys sputty, jumping will lower your stamina making you less accurate, slower, and eventually unable to jump until it regenerates.

Those of you who compare jump/jetting in Tribes/Tribes 2 to bunny hopping have no idea what you are talking about.

You act like the guy in the air is invincible.

Let me tell you, there's nothing like a mid air disc to bring someone down. Pull out the chain gun and shred him. Sitting on the ground is the quickest way to be killed. You have to manage your jets and use your weapons to gain an advantage.

The tribes games take a tremendous amount of skill to be successfull. It's not a twitch game like most other fps.

In tribes 2 there was a mod with a suit called "Raven" it was lightly armored, but was fast and had a huge ammount of energy that regened fast, the effect was unlimited flight time, if you managed your energy right, I used it alot when i played.

The only mod you should ever play is Classic. If you want the true tribes experience. Officially sanctioned (and even funded) by Sierra.

I forgot some of these comments come from playing base. Don't play base.
