Question: Does anyone live there? And checks out the scene?

My wife and I and two friends are heading out there for an extended weekend. Haven't been there since January 2003 (despite only living 3 1/2 hours away). Of course were going to do the Trekie thing and eat/drink at Quarks Bar. Plus were going to check out Coyote Ugly at NY NY and visit the tried and true sites we like (M&M World, Forum Shops, Bellagio Fountains, etc.). But is there anything else I should see or check out THATS NEW?

I live there, but being underage, I don't go out to the strip often. Usually only when family is in town. One thing I can definately recommend though, if you're into hiking, is Redrock Canyon. Its about 30 minutes west of town on blue diamond. Its really cool, and there are tons of trails. Only thing is that this time of year its really fucking hot of course, but if you go early its not too bad.

I dunno, just seems more natural. for example, Im from new york, and in turn I love the yankees and jets.

Exactly. I am also a white sox fan. I used to live real close to chicago. If(when? I can only hope) las vegas gets a baseball team, I'll definately be a fan.

Heh, I remember when my computer science teacher was telling us about when he went to comdex this year. They set up a porn convention right next to it, and all the geeks ended up going over there.
