iPod vs. Digital Camera

Alright, though my net connection is craptastic, seeing as I'm in the land of 56k (South of Myrtle Beach). I decided I needed to drop by with a query, and it is this: If you had the option, of receiving a Digital Camera, I'm not sure of what make currently, or an iPod, both free of charge, which would you take?

Well, I'd get an iRiver, but if not an option, i'd go for the iPod. I use my mp3 player a LOT more than my camera.

Are there any retail stores that carry those? i.e. Wal-Mart?

iPod, because I might be able to sucker my parents out of a Canon PowerPro 1 camera for 700 dollars, that and iPods are a great status item.

Best Buy carries iRivers, I believe.

It really depends on what you prefer. I would pick the digital camera only because I find myself taking pictures more than listening to music on the go, but I would pick the iPod if I were an audiophile. So just pick the one you would enjoy using the most.

iPod is great entertainment everywhere you go. Cameras cant do that, they are cool but I actually have both and my iPod is now like a part of me its that cool.

Okay then, I say get a digital camera. Carrying around music is less important (in my opinion) than having the capability to take pictures of whatever whenever.

Digital Camera, i use it much more than my iPod. But i <3 my iPod so much. Hard decision.
I'd say go for a digicam, Get a Canon Powershot A-Series. Shoot for the A-80 if you got the cash, or an A-60/70, they are cheap now.

Why on earth would you get an Iriver when you could get an iPod. Someone please explain this to me.

How cares who made it as long as it is a superior product. I am running windows and I hate ms. (Not saying windows is superior in any way, just more games.)
