My rant thread about the Vanu Sovereignty

undefined who here thinks that nc and vs have overpowered weapons. I mean the pulsar doesnt even lose accuracy when ur being shot the cycler couldnt hit a van 20m away when getting hit. Also the jh and lasher kill in a fewseconds were the mcg takes atleast 5seconds. And the prowler just plain sucks tank vesus tank but with new beef will hopefully change, as well as our maxes pounder and dc hopefully can do something to the infinite power of av and ai max of other empires.



Cr5s need to get more specific like with targets and what to bring all they say is armor well skys r just as important i mean our big armor brigade gets owned by reavers and mossies

I agree with Neon, many of our CR5s are idiots (a fact we make note of regularly), however we do have great outfits and leadership. If you are an Emerald Vanu having trouble finding a good organised group, you definitely need to check out a UVA outfit. I'm also in the UVA, the Xen of Onslaught to be specific.

Essentialy the "who's who" of Emerald's Vanu. These are the names that you see on the front lines getting things done. We have regular Alliance Assaults on Thursday (that's alot of elite units moving in a coordinated assault) and most have regular inter-outfit Assaults weekly aswell.

shhh, thats not what we are talking about, its about commanding and direction of the empires on Emerald. Not weapon balance.

But as of now, i have not seen anything aside of some failed raids on NC's part. And those are indeed due to spies. We bust into a cont and all of a sudden are met 3 to 1 back against angry terrans. You can only claim "training exercise" a couple times before i stop beleiving that one. Kinda a bummer, but oh well.

Reasons the vs suck?

1) 98% of VS CR5's are incompetent, ignorant little children

2) getting a vehicle mod is actually detrimental, as all the armored assault zerglings immediatly start spamming a flail, usually doing more harm than good

3) lack of competent, organized outfits


I post this in frustration, we lose almost everywhere we go, and I'm not naive enough to blame it on an overpowered weapon/vehicle, or the pop lock status, as I'm sure both empires have the same cont locked.

the VS as a whole, in my eyes at least, is just a mass of braindead zerglings.

I log off in frustration daily.

the only thing I have to say about the VS is, we most certainly have the best pilots in planetside, in spite of AC leaving to play Lineage II

Got that right. And we dont have compitent outfits because you cant get people to join who are compitent, they are teh same solo as they are if you get them to join. They should delete emerald! 8p

the real purpose of Command is to organise make sher everyone knows the NTUs are low or where to go to prepair for a raid or know that a base is being back hacked.

damnit man i agree!!
thing is, recently theres been a spate of little kids who can master killing ppl easy and sending tells to enough ppl to form squads and platoons who are eager to get more bep, even if it does involve following a rubbish lead.
emerald has so many of them. i have a tr on werner and a vs on emerald
werner sees battles where the planning and organisation are blatantly obvious in the way they are played out.. emerald... people are all over the place and the cr5s are busy having petty rants about no1 listening to them... its because they dont know shit about hwo to properly lead. i mean, examples... amid a huge battle on forseral a while ago, my outfit were in the caverns trying to get a lock and mods to make our job even easier... we ended up needing support down there and as our cr5s were not about at teh time, asked one of the ones that were, no help, just a reply saying, the caverns are not priority here... ok.. so let the tr have them and just spam us with flails and maelstroms.. idiots(cr5s,not tr.)
then theres the recent.. lets get everyone on to a cont, take half of it, then change our minds about where to attack and do a half arsed call for a new primary and leave this one..
we work really hard to get half the cont, then because this genius *cough* idea to attack a new cont.. a large number of our people go elsewhere, and subsiquently, we lose what we just worked to earn. and get our asses whupped on the cont that we left the first one for because spies let the nme know.
cr5s, get ur act together, sort out your petty shit and actually do something to show u deserve that rank.
