I was booted several times from the BFR test by a customer service rep. I imagine it was because I was getting some awsome flail kills. Anyways, I do remember that other empires were using flails too, and I was just responding to flail fire from the other side of desolation. I wonder if the enemy flail operators were booted as well. Who knows, maybe it had nothing to do with the flail. But I do know that I wasn't messing with my own empire's BFRs, and I wasn't team killing, so I am still curious why I was booted. Maybe next time you people could send me a tell to explain the error of my ways, rather than just logging my account off because you were upset that I stomped on your precious battleframes

They put out not to attack the enemies BFR shed and the courtyard where gunners where waiting. Folks who were attacking those areas (bombs, flails, etc) were booted.

Before people participate in playtests, they should understand that these tests have a purpose. First, there was an objective to fight over in the the test. In this case it was the central tower. The 3 facilities were the staging areas for each of the empires and were OFF LIMITS! Those idiots who were putting down orbital strikes in the middle of courtyards, liberator bombing courtyards, and yes Flails who were targeting courtyards should be kicked. If I was a CSR, I'd be kicking them from the test server for good! People were freely standing around in the middle of courtyards because they expected others to observe these rules. No one would do this in a normal live server battle. You post suggests you are so proud that you were getting "awsome flair kills" - well no friggin wonder since that act was akin to shooting fish in a barrel!
I have no sympathy for you at all since you just jumped in without understanding the rules and/or purpose of the playtest. On any playtest, certain facilities are assigned to each empire and are always considered OFF LIMITS! to hacks and courtyard attack. Learn the rules before you jump in and start firing madly. Next time, find out what and where you are suppose to be attacking and perhaps you won't be kicked for disrupting a playtest. |

Read the rules, then follow them. If an asshat starts to break the rules, report them.

i got on, Went out to the courtyard, turned on DL, 6 vanu cloakers sitting throwing jammers. I JH pwned them all. Then I got a bunch of hate tells saying that I was breaking the rules. heh.. Then I went out into the open, and a VS BFR landed on me. The funny thing was that it was a gunner variant, so it jumped into the air anyway.

I read the rules for the test, and is said we couldn't hack the bases or drop the gens, if I had read no flailing, I wouldn't have done it. I don't have anything against following the rules, if you just post them for me.

I'm not sure fighting in a facility was ever considered off limits officially, i think it was more of an unspoken agreement, in which case there really isn't anything wrong, rules wise, in flailing a CY. Is it wrong morally? I think so. You shouldn't have done it out of consideration for others, but you weren't, according to the clearly stated rules, wrong.

Look, I was there. The CSRs made an announcement to NOT attack those areas. If someone attacked anyway, they got tossed when the CSRs noticed them. If you claim to have missed the CSR announcement, thats possible, however ignorance of the law is not an excuse. It was put out live, you didn't follow, they exercised their option of removing you.
What I don't understand is why you keep persuing this? I told you the reason in my first post. If you have been to public tests before, you know that this is not a platform for you to rack up countless kills (like they matter anyway). We were there to test the BFRs. We were not there to kill folks standing around in a courtyard. Since you were out in a flail, exactly how many BFRs did you attack????? Bottom line, you didn't follow the rules (posted or announced) and you got removed. Those of us who meant to help test BFRs didn't. Obviously you need to examine your own priorities about why you even bother to come to a playtest, if all you care about are kills. I would advise you just stay on the live servers, since that is what you seem suited for.

By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |
