I like the idea of the pic but you really should make sure people won't find it offensive.

He could have thought about it more but he could have also gone around and asking whether or not this would be offensive to everyone as well. If he did that the joke would sort of lose well any humor that it started out with. Should just leave this as something that got blown out of proportion.
