But never forget, if you're a liberal who claims to be a wonderful pacifist but treats criminals like shit in prison to keep them alive, it's far better than a conservative who figures if you fuck up bad, you need to be killed.

Well here we are again, in yet ANOTHER thread were you show how often your mother dropped you on your head as a child.
You counter an argument about rendering prisonners miserable in a little 7' by 4' cell with a shitty bed by saying: "Let's torture them then!" you might as well be holding to your side your sister and a bastard child while you pump your shotgun to shoot trepassers that were on your "propertay".
Just what kind of white trash family do you come from, seriously. Your argument stands up as much as a trailer park in the middle of a tornado, the prison for life thing is there to stay as we evolve as a race (unless Bush clones an army of himself and get's elected on every seat). Fact is, even if you torture the prisonner that's on death row in the end he's still going to die. Prison for life is going to make him endure things you'd never think possible (the raping being one and the beatings another) and to top it all off, the person is never going to go free, she's going to be all alone in prison whilst her loved ones pass away and she grows older and older.
Just because that person killed someone doesnt mean she doesnt deserve being alive. In fact she has to stay alive to be wrapped in the blanket that is called guilt wich makes it ever so sweet for the families of the victim as the perp grows older, weaker and more fucked up each day.
Our society is growing and growing, hell maybe one day we will reach a point where crime will be gone but for now let's just cram them in a cell and let them rot in there. Eye for eye doesnt apply anymore, we arent barbarians and we need to set the example. It's people like you that are holding us back in the dark ages we are in.
