I do feel strongly the DEVS are approaching this entire BFR issue the wrong way and I am not necessarily a happy customer currently. I'm not at the point of going all out with a negative campaign towards Planetside, but that camel is about one straw away.
We the customers paid for Planetside and the BFR expansion, we the customers should not have a development team basically removing what we paid for a short three months later. These nerfs need to stop or at least be address in a different manner.
Just as the Internet word of mouth is a positive way to increase Planetside population, and I did my share. It can also act in an opposite way. I dont take kindly being sold a Porche and when I get the vehicle home finding out the dealer replaced my engine with one from a VW.
So for now, I'm calling the DEVS bluff.

Core Combat is not "the BFR expansion". It existed long before BFRs were added to it. If you bought the expansion for the BFRs, great, but you're wrong in assuming you have some kind of guarentee. You may also be surprised to know that you also do not own your character, and that if SOE wished, they could instantly revoke your PS account permanently, and there wouldn't be a damn thing you could do about it. Clearly, you're overestimating your rights in this situation.
Furthermore, you are a player. You do not necessarily understand the nuances of game balance. The fact that you concede you were emotional about this situation makes it obvious you are not being objective. You aren't basing your opinion on what's best for the game, you're basing it on what
you want. That is not how you balance a game. If Samhayne started letting his personal feelings about one vehicle or another get in the way, the game would become unbalanced in a hurry, and customers would be lost.
So stop leaping to conclusions about what you're entitled, and realize that you do not necessarily know what is best.
