What do you guys think. Radeon 9000pro with 128mb or Radeon9100 with 128mb. I havent been able to find much about the 9100 and only a few sites have it which makes me think maybe something is wrong with it.

I would get the Radeon 9000 pro 128mb just to be on the safe side. I had not even seen or heard to much about the 9100 128 mb until I saw it for sale on pricewatch.com. I could not even find it on ATI's website {there is probably a reason for this}. Generally speaking though, the pro versions of cards are better than non pro versions.
If i was of any help, If not, sry for your time

9100? Never heard of it. Save up alittle more and get the 9500. It's worth it, and it's a big step up from 9000. I got the 9700pro so I researched them all.

I would go with R9500, you cna get em for cheap to. I got mine from this computer store that delivers to anywhere in North America, but i live 40 mins away from it . I got a Radeon 9500 Pro, and it was OEM! For only $184 US. http://www.ncix.com/usa/productdetai...tab=2&sku=8976

I'd wait a few month... maybe like 2 or so for the FX to come out...
then all the Geforce 4 TI prices will drop... If you can save up a bit get the 9700 pro ATI is a bit issueesque when it comes to drivers but I've seen very few complaints so it must not be hittin' to hard just yet. Or get a Gainward GeFroce TI 4200 with 128 ddr. Then OC it up to the TI 4600 standard. ATM it would cost about 150-170 but it's worth it if you don't wanna shell the 300 for the 9700. |

I use a 9500 pro ($174 HAH!!) and I have moved away from Nvidias but I'n your case you might want to strongly consider the Ti 4200 128mb.... the geforece cards seem to work decent on everything while Radeons do awsome in some areas while doing average in others...
