Like I said Corrosion... it's only a matter of time before they make back the money they lost. Fact is they purchased way too many licenses and companies this year but with that comes exclusivity for some titles like the NFL games and much much more. EA is not going out of business, I repeat EA is not going out of business. This sort of thing has happened before and it will happen again, a 17% drop in shares will not kill them outright if they play their cards correctly wich I'm sure EA will do.

Hell, Battlefield 2 is coming so...

He is right...Just because a business just went down that much, doesn't mean they are going out of business. QuikSilver just went down 11% in value from when I bought them. Doesn't mean they are going out of business, they bought a company and the transaction has made them lose some value, but they will go up soon.

Thank you for that, can you tell me what rule that follows in grammar? (i've been learning this for the past month in english, sheesh...)

And I personally got no problem with EA, actually maybe a good third of my games are EA opposed to any others. EA wants to monopolize, fine by me. Madden's better than blitz anyways.

It's subject-verb agreement. "EA", although it a collective group of people, is considered a singular noun. A "collective group". "Are", however, is a plural verb. This is why you have to use "EA is" as opposed to "EA are", since "is" is singular and therefore fits.
