I chose empire specific fighters because thats my second choice.

I chose Naval battles, not just because I think that would add a very interesting game, but also because I think it could lead to another important expansion, specifically an end to warp-gate travel across continents. I would like to see a true one world feature where you could hop onto a ship on X continent and use a landing craft when you get near Y continent.

It would be cool if they could make a software kind-of like the bubble system they have now, but with 2 bubbles. The 1st would be the high end graphics, all of what you see. the 2nd would be out side of that, like they have now. But instead of the 2nd bubble being the whole continent, it would be a large area, and as you moved, it updated like the 1st bubble does.
